This initiative and OMB memo M-08-27 provide further guidance to agencies on the steps necessary to complete the TIC Cybersecurity Capability Validation (CCV).

The Department of Homeland Security, in collaboration with federal agencies, developed the Trusted Internet Connections (TIC) Reference Architecture v2.0 which introduces new capabilities and clarifies existing mandatory critical capabilities.

Access Kenya's Point of Presence (POP) is located in a data centre of one of the world's largest Internet Carriers (Tier 1) also known as a carrier of carriers in North America.
These processes shall be carried out through the entities known as Points of Presence (POPs) appointed by the PFRDA.
POPs shall provide the services under NPS through their network of branches called POP Service Providers (POP-SP).
